The Platinum Card
This is our premium precision full head blonding transformation and our most comprehensive blonde service. It’s designed for clients looking for maximum blonde results and incorporates our Three Key Pillars to an Unbreakable Blonde: BlondorPlex, K18 and System Professional Liquid Hair.
The Platinum Card is an intensive five-hour appointment using meticulous back-to-back foiling through the entire head, for maximum lift and coverage. The back sections are developed and rinsed independently of the front, so we keep complete control over the lifting process instead of racing the clock across a whole head at once.
This is exclusively available with Peter and James.
What’s included
Every Platinum Card carries our three pillars of blonde hair integrity as standard, not as upgrades:
- BlondorPlex — our professional lightening system, with bond-building technology working throughout the lift.
- K18 molecular repair — built into the service to support the hair through intensive lightening.
- System Professional Liquid Hair — the strengthening step that reinforces and restores the hair fibre.
Once the hair has reached the right level of lift, your blonde is refined with a BlondorPlex Toner, formulated for the tone and finish you want.
Before you book
- A consultation is required prior to booking, with our separate skin testing requirement of at least 48 hours prior where applicable. At the consultation, Peter or James assess your hair’s condition, colour history, starting point and the result you want, to decide whether your hair can take this level of lightening at all.
- We may say not yet. Where it’s needed we’ll strand test, and if we don’t believe this can be done while keeping your hair intact, we’ll recommend a different blonding plan instead. That is the point of the consultation, not a formality.
- It must be booked alongside a haircut. Refining the shape and taking off compromised ends is part of the service, not an optional extra.

“I was visiting from overseas and usually quite pedantic with my foils. I found Zowie on instagram and I’m so glad I did! She made me the most perfect golden blonde that I’ve been trying to get hairdressers to achieve for a long time now. She was also very thorough and gentle and all around a good person. “I know a few people who go to PeterJames and their hair always looks fabulous so I thought I would try too after having a disaster! From the min I worked in for my patch test I felt welcome (so did my daughter who loved the dogs!) James and I talked over what we could do and where I wanted to be (was dark brown/grey! And wanted blonde) he explained it would take a few appointments which I was absolutely fine with as he was so honest.. he booked me in with Peter for the following week and again, Peter went over and explained everything to me, he advised on products etc and I left feeling amazing and had a nice Colour after getting highlights.. unfortunately I was really unwell between my appointments and in and out of hospital but I kept in touch and Peter even sent my products I had ordered to my parents house where I was staying for a bit.I am just home from my second appointment and my hair looks and feels fantastic, the colour is amazing and I cannot believe the shine (I’ve never had a shine when having blonde hair before!) just arranged to go out with my friend tonight as I feel so much more confident!! “I have been going to James since July last year and he is honestly my hair saviour. After my old hairdresser retired I was at abit of a loss where to go and what to do, after reading reviews I decided to book an appointment with James. What is The Platinum Card?
Despite the name, it's a blonding appointment: our most comprehensive blonding service. It's an intensive five-hour appointment with Peter or James, using meticulous back-to-back foiling through the entire head for maximum lift and coverage.
How is it different from Full Head Bleach & Tone?
The Platinum Card is precision foiling, with the back sections developed and rinsed independently of the front so we keep complete control over the lift. If you want an all-over blonde without the precision foiling, Full Head Bleach & Tone is the service to look at.
What's included?
BlondorPlex, K18 molecular repair and System Professional Liquid Hair, as standard rather than as upgrades. Once your hair has reached the right level of lift, your blonde is refined with a BlondorPlex Toner formulated for the tone and finish you want.
