A toner on its own, plus a blow-dry — no lightening.
Who it’s for
Existing blonde or lightened hair that has gone brassy, yellow or dull between appointments. It resets the tone without touching the condition or the length of your colour cycle.
What to know
- It only works on hair that’s already been lightened. It can’t make dark hair lighter.
- A useful halfway appointment between full colour visits.
- The blow-dry is included, so you leave finished.

“I was visiting from overseas and usually quite pedantic with my foils. I found Zowie on instagram and I’m so glad I did! She made me the most perfect golden blonde that I’ve been trying to get hairdressers to achieve for a long time now. She was also very thorough and gentle and all around a good person. Hopefully my photos and videos do it justice. iPhone photos tend to make things more white/grey than they are.”

“Just had my hair done at PeterJames for the very first time. Went there on recommendation from my daughter. What can I say- I absolutely love my new cut and colour from James. The salon is spacious and modern, the staff are super welcoming and friendly and the 2 wee pups make the experience all the more enjoyable!! “I know a few people who go to PeterJames and their hair always looks fabulous so I thought I would try too after having a disaster! From the min I worked in for my patch test I felt welcome (so did my daughter who loved the dogs!) James and I talked over what we could do and where I wanted to be (was dark brown/grey! And wanted blonde) he explained it would take a few appointments which I was absolutely fine with as he was so honest.. he booked me in with Peter for the following week and again, Peter went over and explained everything to me, he advised on products etc and I left feeling amazing and had a nice Colour after getting highlights.. unfortunately I was really unwell between my appointments and in and out of hospital but I kept in touch and Peter even sent my products I had ordered to my parents house where I was staying for a bit.I am just home from my second appointment and my hair looks and feels fantastic, the colour is amazing and I cannot believe the shine (I’ve never had a shine when having blonde hair before!) just arranged to go out with my friend tonight as I feel so much more confident!! Who is a stand-alone toner for?

Can it make my hair lighter?
No. There's no lightening in this appointment, and it only works on hair that's already been lightened. It can't make dark hair lighter.
Is a blow-dry included?
Yes. The blow-dry is included, so you leave finished.
How is this different from adding a toner to my colour appointment?
Add a Toner is an add-on to a lightening service, not an appointment on its own. This is a toner on its own, with a blow-dry, for resetting existing blonde between appointments.
Does it replace my next full colour appointment?
No. It's a useful halfway appointment between full colour visits, resetting the tone in between.
